The 2011 Human Race results made quite an impact to the many non-profit groups involved. There were 400 volunteers involved, 115 nonprofits were supported. There were 25 walking teams which included 5,350 walkers and 250 runners. The total amount raised for the local non-profit groups was $200,000
It is again time for the Human Race (2012 version) on this Saturday, 9:00am -12:00pm. March 31, at the Greensboro Coliseum. The Human Race is a 5K charity walk and run that allows participants to raise money for their favorite non-profit (agency, church, school PTA, animal shelter or rescue, etc.)
The Volunteer Center has planned the Triad’s Human Race for the past 18 years.
Those who wish to participate must register online through their favorite non-profit group. If your group is not listed, please contact the Volunteer Center at 336-373-1633 to find out how to create a group for your non-profit.

After the completion of the race, there will be an after party with food, fun, and live music. Followed by an award ceremony. So make it out there for a good time. A healthy way to spend your day. Check out the website for more info.
