It’s spring… so you know what that means. Time for my annual shoe review week!
Today, I wrap up the week with one of my favorite baby shoe brands, now also making cute shoes for bigger kids – pediped!
Pediped sent us a pair of their absolutely adorable eyecatching Evie maryjanes in purple. These are so girly, so sparkly and so purply with a oversized flower as a nice finishing touch. My 4 year old daughter tested these out. Her eyes just about popped out of her head when she opened the box. She adored the purple sparkles that look like tiny gems – but they’re not which means they’re more durable and will stay put. Yet the sparkle still catches the eye and the sunshine. My daughter likes to make the wall or door or whatever she’s around “glitter” with her shoe sparkles, so these fit the bill. These are a bit stiff compared to other ppediped styles we’ve tried but my daughter still found them comfy and very playground worry. Truth be told she hesitated to wear them though because she said they were “too pretty to get dirt on outside.” But alas, she sacrificed and wore them to school with much delight after reassuring her we can clean them up. Yet, they didn’t look worn at all after wearing them around and running through dirt on the playground. Like all other pediped shoes we’ve had, these have top craftsmanship and are built to last. This pair is equiped with pediped’s “Flex Fit System” which “provides additional insoles that can be inserted for a snug fit then removed for room as your child’s foot grows. These insoles can reduce shoe size by almost half a size, extending the life of the shoe.”
Pediped makes shoes for newborns on up to kiddos about 7 or 8 years old, depending on how big their little feeties get and how quickly. See the slide show for a look at some of pediped’s other fun new styles for kiddos this season.
