Viator, a worldwide tour company, has entered the crowded Orlando discount card field with the Eat, Play and Shop card. The card offers a 10 to 50 percent discounts to 140 restaurants, shops and attractions in and around Orlando. The card also includes 30 minutes of long-distance calling. One card is good for a whole group with no limit. The cost of the card is $25 and is good for 30 days. The card has few exceptions- merchants do have the option of not including alcohol in the discount. The card doesn’t include theme park discounts, but does offer a discount at most of the CityWalk restaurants.
The card would be worth it for groups planning to do a lot of eating out and shopping. For one person or a couple, they would have to spend at least $250 out on dining and shopping to make the cost of the card back. Another problem with the card is that it doesn’t have a complete list online of all the locations the card can be used at. The Eat, Play and Shop card can be bought online at the Viator website.
