When Bowlto, a 3 year old Beagle was brought to Arizona Humane Society because his family had to move to an apartment and couldn’t take him with them, he kept his head up high knowing this was just an opportunity to bring joy to another family out there.
Like with his previous family he wants to just be loved and spend most of his time outside to play. He’s not the best with potty training, so will need some work on that until he gets the hang of it. One of his biggest must is to find someone who loves to go on walks as much as he does. He’s really good on the leash, and is ready to strut his stuff around the block.
Bowlto is friendly around men and women. If children are in the family, it is best if they are 13 years or older. It is unknown how he is around cats, but he is okay with other dogs, but just be sure to bring them (and the kiddos) along to make sure he is a good fit with them.
Bowlto is located Arizona Humane Society Campus for Compassion location. Anyone interested in adopting him can either visit him at the shelter, or call (602) 395-3874. His pet id number is A386506.

Beagle Breed Info:
Beagles are pack animals that make good companions. They are generally gently and usually display a happy disposition. Many Beagle owners will say “they love their people.” This is a wonderful breed to have with families with children.
Because of their pack mentality, separation anxiety can be an issue. They can be known to be standoffish towards a stranger, but with a proper greeting will soon love that person. They are not great guard dogs, but are good watch dogs as they tend to bark or howl at an unfamiliar person. Even though Bowlto is not very vocal, a family interested in adopting a beagle must consider that this animal can be very vocal.
Obesity can be an issue for this breed. Daily walks and other forms of exercise are highly recommended.
A Beagle can live around 12 to 15 years.
