According to the Montgomery County Police Reporter, on March 29, 2012, there were two bank robberies in Montgomery County.
The first robbery occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. in Shenandoah at the Citibank located on the service road at 18410 Interstate 45 and was followed by a second robbery at approximately 1:50 p.m. at the Chase Bank located at 3000 Interstate 45 at FM 3083 in Conroe. Both of these locations are just off of Interstate 45 and it is believed that the robberies were committed by the same individual. The get away vehicle was possibly an older model Hyundai SUV and is blue/gray in color.
The individual who robbed the two banks in Montgomery County is described as a 20 year old, black male.
These two bank robberies followed the attempted robbery of March 27, 2012 on The Woodforest Bank in Humble (located on the Southeastern border of Montgomery County, in Harris County). The Montgomery County Police Reporter stated the FBI is seeking information regarding the two individuals involved in The Woodforest Bank robbery.
