With the Republican primaries slowly winding down in the eyes of our news hungry culture followed with whispers ‘Of course it’ll be Mitt Romney’ challenging Obama come November , the Democrats have implemented a great strategy to energize the base that in 2008 propelled him into stardom. It’s a one, two, three knockout punch.
Trayvon Martin is a beautiful event for the Democrats:
He’s a house hold name. CNN has devoted a two-hour segment this Friday entitled “Beyond Trayvon Martin” combined with every news outlet exasperating in detail the conflicting events. Race card combined with guns and now the 2nd amendment makes it political. Call to action? Where’s his arrest?
Oh, also, it’s all about race.
Since Barack Obama doesn’t have the ‘black slavery’ stigma attached to him from his father being from Africa it will make this race card issue perfect fodder against those ‘angry Tea Party’ people who will suddenly appear in the news as November approaches.
Robert Foster of Juice Rap News released his controversial if not intellectually euphoric “Yes We KONY?” video detailing an agenda behind the Josephy Kony viral video that details the arrest and strategy to produce outrage of Africa’s Uganda gone-rouge rebel leader Josephy Kony. Kony, who is a black rebel leader, apparently has an army of child soldiers at his disposal and they wreak havoc across Africa.
The Kony 2012 project targeted celebrities and politicians in the video while calling for his arrest.
April 20th, three weeks away, is the ‘call to action’ day where across the United States passionate supporters will ‘graffiti’ the streets with political type stickers and yard signs – making Kony a Cable News headline.
Just on internet support alone America has sent military aide and advisors to Africa in efforts to detain Kony.
However, just like the war on terror and Osama Bin Laden, Kony doesn’t really have a ‘home base of operation’ and seems to wonder marauding with his band of child soldiers across country borders in Africa.
‘ObamaCare’ strike down
If, and many now speculate just when, ‘ObamaCare’ with its individual mandate in question is struck down by the Supreme Court come June, it will add more fuel to the Democratic base that is lacking, if not lethargic, with its youth base heading towards Ron Paul and party-loyal voters who are having difficult times justifying NDAA, SOPA, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, medical marijuana raids, neglected town-hall questions, and dozens of broken promises from the 2008 campaign trail. Well, they just need a little fuel to kick start the fire before November.
With Occupy Wall Street waiting in the shadows, Trayvon Martin sticking around, Joseph Kony’s call to action just a few weeks away and then the knock-out punch from the Supreme Court sending Obama’s ‘martyr’ Health Care Reform down in ashes the perfect storm is brewing for the Democratic base.
It’s quite amazing.
Who could’ve planned it any better?
