When the dead rise up to eat the living, you’re going to need a lot of stuff. But where do you get all that stuff? Your savior is the Map of the Dead: Zombie Survival Map, which is a Google map dedicated specifically to post-Z-Day essentials. Need medicine – two blocks, left. Need guns – across the street. The Apocalypse has never been easier!
Map of the Dead provides bright, easily recognizable icons for the places you’ll want to visit (or avoid) most; perfect for use while sprinting through suburbia. You can also toggle the “Danger Zone” indicator, which highlights in red everywhere there’s likely to be zeds en masse.
Count functional relocation tool as another feature of MotD. When you’re ready to make the move to a more living friendly neighborhood, you can use the map to target areas with the highest survival probability. Click on that article picture up there for an ideal location example. Not total isolation, but accessibility to both urban supplies and open range; guns, outdoors stores and tanks to the West, and glorious wilderness to the East. It just doesn’t get any better than that if you’re dead set against penning up in an abandoned missile silo.
So get on it and start planning a location-based survival strategy. You may not get the chance tomorrow.
Note: Since the Internet ain’t gonna last forever after doomsday, you may want to keep up a hard copy log of your area. Hard copies should stay current, as the mobs of zombies should keep booming post-apocalyptic commerce and industry from popping up all over the place.
