Beauty Bus Foundation Hosts 3rd Annual Beauty Drive April 29, 2012 Honoring Dean Banowetz
On April 29, 2012 Trish Suhr from Style Network’s Clean House will host the Beauty Bus Foundation’s 3rd annual Beauty Drive “green carpet” fundraising event. Honoring celebrity stylist and Spokesperson/Brand Development Expert for InStylerR Dean Banowetz.
The Beauty Bus Foundation will recognize Banowetz’s continued commitment to the Beauty Bus Foundation and the Beauty Industry with the help of sponsors including Genentech, Bosley Professional Strength, InStylerR, OPI Products, Aloxxi International, Beauty Collection, Joico, O’Connell Dermatology, and Qosmedix.
The Beauty Bus has the healing power of touch combined with beauty to create a few hours of serenity for seriously ill people and their caregivers. This years charity event to raise money and awareness will take place at House of Blues on Los Angeles’ famed Sunset Strip Sunday April 29, 11:30-2:30pm.
The charitable day of beauty and will showcase what Beauty Bus Foundation clients’ experience in a fun and interactive way. Individual companies will host “Beauty Stations” and offer the same services and products for attendees.
The silent auction will feature exclusive items from world-renowned beauty, fashion, entertainment, sports and lifestyle companies. The event will also feature a signature Men’s Lounge with haircuts, MAN-icures, and a putting green. Of course attendees will receive an exclusive gift bag filled with the best in beauty.
Alicia Liotta, Founder of Beauty Bus Foundation is thrilled the event is returning to the House of Blues and looks forward to this Beauty Drive . This year’s event will allow the charity to continue to expand the services locally in Los Angeles and catapult Beauty Bus to the national level.
Over 300 attended last year, with the help of partners including Genentech, Bosley Professional Strength, Starshine Systems, Nitesweatz, Aloxxi, OPI, Pravana, Joico, Redken, InStylerR, Qosmedix, ROB|B, Glitz Beverly Hills and Epic Salon.
Last years event raised over $100,000 and brought beauty into lives of over 400 terminally ill patients and their caregivers. The Beauty Bus Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which delivers dignity, hope and respite to terminally and chronically ill men, women and children and their caregivers through beauty and grooming services and pampering products.
Beauty Bus accomplishes their mission :In-Home beauty and grooming services, Pop-Up Salon events and the Bags of Beauty Program. These Services are free-of-charge and focus on clients with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injury, cancer, stroke, other select neuromuscular and motor neuron diseases and their caregivers.
