As part of the Kinect integration announcement for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim last week, Bethesda also revealed that DLC news would be coming soon. Soon turns out to be Tuesday, April 17 as the developer teased the DLC announcement with an image on Monday.
The official Bethesda Blog twitter account posted a picture of what appears to be one very tired and haggard Nordish fellow with a caption that simply reads, “Tomorrow.”
Update (4/17): It appears that the tease was actually for a new trailer for Dishonored. Well played Bethesda. Well played.
Whatever the announcement, Bethesda Softworks and Microsoft struck a deal in 2011 that ensures the first two DLC packs for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim hits the Xbox 360 first. Playstation 3 and PC owners should expect to see any add-on content released roughly a month later.
While there is speculation on what the DLC add-ons will contain, we should expect something more in line with the larger Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion expansions and not the sillier small DLC that was released like horse armor.
