If you like Zac Brown, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, or Blackberry Smoke, then you’re going to LOVE The Brian Collins Band.
Born and raised in the musical hotbed of West Georgia. Brian Collins is the latest member of the Georgia Gang which has produced legendary artists such as Alan Jackson, Patty Loveless and Travis Tritt, as well as newcomer sensations Sugarland, Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band and Lady Antebellum. The Brian Collins Band is part Americana, Southern Rock and Pop, R&B and Southern Blues!
A born entrepreneur, Brian wears many hats in his quest to find the American Dream – producer, engineer, and of course, singer-song writer. His music reflects that same nature- introspective, brutally truthful, but hopeful. His lyrics are uplifting without being saccharine or trite. They are direct, moving and seem to touch the lives of his fans.
Brian’s easy going yet hard working nature has led him to share the stage with KISS, Angie Aparo, James Otto, Colin Hay (of Men At Work), Zac Brown, the Smithereens, Marshall Tucker Band, Georgia Satellites, Edwin McCain, Blackberry Smoke and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
As part of the Sunrise Theatre’s “Up and Coming” Band series at the Black Box, The Brian Collins Band will no doubt, bring the house down. “Their debut album, ‘Hello Life’, was released in January of this year, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have them here, at an affordable price, for our patrons,” said Renee Page, Marketing and Development Director of the Sunrise Theatre and Black Box. “People should check out their songs on iTunes, visit their Facebook Page and LIKE THEM (we did) and come out and support them, Thursday, April 12 at 8 pm,” added Page.
