It’s about that time of year again, kids. Charleston’s very own Cultural Art Center is hosting another wonderful event for the family to enjoy. With spring already here, the weather is warming up and with students enjoying spring recess, families are out and about searching for some fun things to keep the little ones busy and well engaged during their break.
With the numerous sponsors, the Clay Center has had much success with the Eggstravaganza in the past and families and children have fallen in love with all the excitement and fun that fills Charleston that day. Hop on over to the Clay Center, Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 11a.m. to 4p.m. Celebrate spring with egg hunts, egg decorating, puppet shows, a visit from the Easter Bunny and more at the next family fun day.
Families can enjoy a variety of activities such as: Bunny ears, Scavenger hunts, Puppet shows, Egg decorating, Egg toss, Egg hunts, Egg-citing science demos, and Bunn & Chick bowling. While at the center, families can also take advantage of the open exhibits. Guests can get hands on exposure with environmental issues involving laundry, composting, transportation and more in “Sustainable Choices,” the latest interactive exhibit in the Mylan Explore-atory. This is only one of the outstanding exhibits at the Clay Center.
All Eggstravaganza activities except Egg decorating are included in the museum admission which is free for Clay Center members or $6 for children and $7.50 for adults. If you need more information about this event, please contact the Clay Center at 304-561-3570 or visit www.theclaycenter.org
