Sometimes you give to a charity because you feel a need to be part of a community. Sometimes it is to boost the Goodwill for people you know. Maybe you want to boost the GoodWill for friends of yours that help with the charities. I have found a great catering company that plays a part in both.
I have found many great reasons to host or be apart of a charitable foodie event. Throughout my career I have help many great charities: SOS, Kids in Distress and March of Dimes to name a few but, the one I am going to tell you about affects all of us and our friends. I have found that when you help a community in which you live, it comes back to eventually. That is why I have taken time out to do charity events for decades.
GoodWill Industries has an individual Business Unit in Foodservice operations in the Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida area called: “Good-to-Go”, that I think is amazing. They are a based in the northern part of St. Petersburg and cater to all sorts of clientele. They of course do charity events but, I have found they offer gourmet catering to businesses for meetings as well as Individual catering events. Their menu is inexpensive as it is extensive. Hot and cold meals; entrees, sandwiches, and such…are just the beginning. They offer set up and break down of the event for the same low price.
Hiring a catering company for business meetings is an important task for many office managers. Giving back to the community might be the single most important contribution that any company, whether large of small could do. Charity begins with the heart and, in this case, it begins with the need to nourish your tummy.
