Shelton, CT: Police shot and killed a dog after it attacked a women getting into her car, the Providence Journal reports.
The women claims she was simply entering her car when the dog ran up to her and bit her on the arm and leg. She was transported to Yale-New Haven hospital following the attack.
Police arrived and deemed the dog aggressive, euthanizing the animal on site.
The dog was microchipped, and police are currently trying to locate it’s owner.
Always remember to never let your dog run at large, even friendly dogs can be considered scary and there have been dozens of cases of loving family pets being shot and killed by officers.
Rest In Peace Dog – Name Unknown.
And a fast recovery to the women who had to sustain such an attack.
