Community Easter Egg Hunt March 31 12-2pm
Zeta House, 4248 Beatties Ford Road
Join in a spring celebration that includes an egg hunt (grouped by ages), face painting, bunny hop race, egg walk/run, and pictures with the Easter bunny. Bring your own basket. Hosted by the Zetas of Charlotte Benevolent Foundation and the Sigmas of Charlotte. Free event for children ages 3-11.
Dyeing Eggs the Natural Way March 31 10am
Rural Hill, 4431 Neck Road, Huntersville
Children of all ages will dye a basket full of eggs to take home and enjoy a group hayride. Bring a smock and a container/basket for the eggs. Register online or by phone. Cost is $15 per child.
Easter Bunny photos Now – April 7th 12-8pm
Concord Mills Mall, 8111 Concord Mills Blvd
The Easter Bunny will be on site for all your photo needs in Neighborhood 2 at the mall, near Books-a-Million. Photo package prices vary.
Easter Eggstravaganza March 31 11am-2pm
Stumptown Park, 120 S. Trade St., Matthews
Join the Easter Bunny for refreshments, music, the annual egg hunts, carnival games, prizes, and much more. Bring your camera to have your picture taken with the guest of honor! The cost is $5 per child, free for babies 2 years and under.
Kids Club Easter Party March 31 11am-1pm
Concord Mills Mall, 8111 Concord Mills Blvd.
Members of the Kidgits Kids Club at Concord Mills are invited to celebrate Easter in the Food Court. Enjoy Mr. Nigel’s Music, crafts, games, goody bags, and a visit by the Easter Bunny! Cost is $5 per child to be a Kidgit member for one year.
Peter Rabbit’s Garden March 31 9am-3pm
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, 6500 S. New Hope Road, Belmont.
This popular children’s story comes alive at the Garden as children meet Peter Rabbit himself, visit with other characters from his world, participate in children’s activities, and listen to readings from this timeless classic. A professional photographer will be available to capture family pictures with live bunnies starting at $39.95. Food and beverages will be available starting at $1, ranging to a $9 sandwich combo. Even is free for garden members, but $6 to $12 a person park admission for non-members. Memberships start at $45 a person and range to $125 for a household with guest card.
Hop to it Easter Egg Hunt March 31st 10am-12
Crossing Paths Park, 120 Blythe Drive, Indian Trail
The Town of Indian Trail has planned a morning full of egg hunts! The hunts start at 10:30am for children 3 years and under, then continue on until 11:30am when the 8 year olds and over have their hunt.
The Great Easter Egg Roll March 31 10am-noon
Symphony Park at SouthPark, 4400 Sharon Road.
Children will push Easter Eggs down the lawn racing the finish line and also participate in Easter-themed activities, enjoy miniature golf, play on tennis courts and visit with the Easter Bunny. Children must be a Kidgits member to attend and memberships can be purchased for $5.
Easter Activities at Bass Pro Shops March 31st and April 1st 11am-4pm
Bass Pro Shops at Concord Mills Mall
Come and make a magnetic egg photo frame for free! The free craft for the kids is available noon-3pm. While you are making your craft, get a free 4×6 photo with the Easter bunny. The bunny is available on Saturday from 11am-3pm, and Sunday 1-4pm. Photos are printed right on the spot so that you are able to take them home!
Digital Photo Scavenger Hunt April 01 1-4pm.
McDowell Nature Center, 15222 York Road.
Stop by the nature center for a scavenger hunt list filled with fun and adventure. Bring a digital camera or use a free loaner camera. Registration required, but this is a free event.
Easter Egg Hunt April 01 1:30pm
Gaston County Museum, 131 W. Main St., Dallas.
Bring your own basket and come for an exciting afternoon of crafts, games and activities. The cost is free!
