Hunt Easter Eggs this Sunday, April 1 at Triple Cross Ranch in Mooresville! Triple Cross Ranch is a nonprofit organization that helps kids learn to ride and care for horses, and uses the horses for therapy as well. They also rescue horses. The Vision of the Ranch is: “To provide a safe place for emotional, physical, spiritual healing and learning for both humans and horses;” and the Mission: “We strive to enrich lives by creating new chances, new choices and new dreams through therapeutic, educational and recreational activities.”
Last year’s “Easter EGGstravaganza” had about 500 guests, and they expect more this year. Besides uncovering hidden Easter eggs, there will also be games, music, and dancing! The event goes from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. and tickets are $1.00 each or $20 for a Family Fun Pack, which includes 25 tickets including concessions and activities. The actual Hunt occurs at 2 p.m. – so don’t miss it! – and the Easter Bunny will be attending. There are hunts for toddlers-5 years and 6 years and up.
And, of course, there is horseback riding involved in the event, so come with closed-toe shoes and helmets. At 3:00, “In His Steps” children’s dance group will be performing. Charisma the trick horse will also be there to show tricks and tell how horses and humans are friends.
Lastly, the Ranch has week-long Summer Camps and guests are invited to register at the event.
