United Culinary Artists is opening the new Faux Pas Bistro on 3rd and Fairfax and we will be checking out the new venue at the media event on Monday.
According to the AIM PR press release, Faux Pas will be offering an American-French bistro menu with California based ingredients. Dishes include French favorites such as Onion Soup, Mac and Cheese, Chicken Cordon Bleu and Sea Bass Almandine, Croquets and Pizzettes.
Craft beers on tap and a comprehensive wine list of 20 wines by glass and 50 bottle selections under $50 will be featured as well as a Mimosa bar with six varieties and handmade Sangrias by glass or pitcher. Martinis will be served with individual shakers and of course, French press coffee.
We’re excited to see Faux Pas has been designed by Kristofer Keith of Spacecraft Group who’s other work includes Mohawk Bend, BOHO at the Hollywood Highland Center, Osaka, Naya and the recently opened Kitchen 24 in Hollywood. It’s worth the visit just to see how Keith pulled off the neighborhood bistro design.
Faux Pas website targets May 3rd as the official opening day. Faux Pas Bistro is located at 7910 West 3rd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90048.
