Fans of Gossip Girl will be thrilled to learn that a new spoiler has hit the web and it reveals some details about what’s coming up on the Upper East Side. The plot synopsis for season 5, episode 21 “Despicable B” has been released. Warning, stop reading now if you don’t like spoilers!
The synopsis reads,
ELIZABETH HURLEY, BILLY BALDWIN AND NEW YORK SOCIAL DIARY’S DAVID PATRICK COLUMBIA GUEST STAR — Blair (Leighton Meester) feels like her Upper East Side status might be slipping away and devises a plan to assure that doesn’t happen. Meanwhile, Lily (Kelly Rutherford) throws a family gathering – including William (guest star Baldwin), Carol (guest star Sheila Kelly) and Lola (guest star Ella Rae Peck) – in an attempt to prove the van der Woodsen family is as united as ever. Finally, Nate (Chace Crawford) digs into Diana’s (guest star Hurley) past and is surprised by what he discovers.
The synopsis doesn’t reveal much, but a few details can still be pulled from it.
Blair’s feeling as if she’s lost her status as Queen B, but what made her feel this way? Is she spending too much time in Brooklyn? Maybe it’s because (with the exception of her new relationship with Dan) nothing of interest is happening in her life. The scandal of her wedding with Prince Louis was a disaster, she has no job and she doesn’t go to school. When was the last time her minions were seen? Blair’s life has definitely changed and she doesn’t seem happy about it, but how will she regain her power?
The van der Woodsen get together should be fun to watch. Will the news that William is Lola’s biological father come out? You know that nothing on this show stays secret forever, so expect fireworks! Will the family ever be able to pull together (as Lily is hoping) or will things only continue to deteriorate?
What skeletons could possibly be locked in Diana’s closet for Nate to discover? Fan circles are speculating that she is Chuck’s biological mother, but that seems far-fetched – even for Gossip Girl! What do you think she’s hiding?
Sound off about that and everything else GG in the comment section below and be sure to tune in Monday nights to West Palm Beach Comcast channel 4 (The CW) to watch the drama unfold on Gossip Girl.
