The new horror movie, House at the End of the Street, released its first full length trailer. If people have already seen The Hunger Games, then they got an early preview of the trailer before the movie.
The movie stars The Hunger Games alum, Jennifer Lawrence, as Elissa. Elissa and her mother Sarah (played by Elizabeth Shue) move to a new town and end up living next door to a house where a young girl killed both her parents. Elissa befriends the son next door, Ryan (played by Max Thieriot) and learns that the story is far from over.
The trailer is done very interestingly. Clips from the movie are shown from what appears to be near the end of the movie in the beginning and then rewinds the clips and proceeds to show clips from earlier in the movie. In other words, clips from the end of the movie are shown in the beginning of the trailer and clips from the beginning of the movie are shown later in the trailer.
The movie looks like it could be interesting. It is not the most original storyline out there, but looks to be better than some of the horror releases of the summer like the Chernobyl Diaries. This may be one to check out.
The movie is set to be released September 21, 2012.
