Illinois State Museum of Lockport Gallery located in the Norton Building (1st floor) at 201 West 10th st, Lockport, IL will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary on May 6th, 2012. The Illinois State Museum of Lockport Gallery is located in a massive limestone building. The building was built by Hiram Norton around 1850. The building was originally used as a grain-processing facility. This museum is accessible to all physically challenged individuals.
There will be many activities to enjoy at the celebration. Some of the activities include: refreshments, new exhibits, story tellers, prizes, balloons, family activities, walk & talk tour at 2:00 and much more.
