There has been a debate over the years on whether immunizations are really good for our children. As parents, we have to weigh all of the factors and determine what is best for our child, requiring an investigation of the facts to see what is the best result.
The benefits of immunizations
According to the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention), which is based in Atlanta, immunizations or vaccines have helped to decrease the amount of strong viral infections that at one time plagued this country.
For many diseases, viruses are the cause and since vaccines have come available, they are now able to treat fourteen childhood viruses. According to the CDC, immunizations can prevent these viruses with routine childhood vaccinations. The CDC can be contacted for any questions regarding immunizations.
The controversy of immunizations
With all of the benefits of immunizations, why is there such a stir about the real effects of these vaccines?
Let us start with its link to autism. There has been much defense given by the medical community about vaccinations and how they are safe. Many in the medical community say that there is no link to autism with vaccinations.
However, there has been research done that may shed some light on the side effects of immunizations. According to Dr. Helen Ratajczak, a former scientist for a pharmaceutical company, claims that vaccines may be linked to the rise in autism because of the human DNA that are in the vaccines.
These are partial quotes from Dr. Ratajczak from an interview that was conducted by the Journal of Immunotoxicology; January-March 2011, Vol. 8, No. 1 , Pages 68-79:
‘The MMR II vaccine is contaminated with human DNA from the cell line in which the rubella virus is grown. This human DNA could be the cause of the spikes in incidence. An additional increased spike in incidence of autism occurred in 1995 when the chicken pox vaccine was grown in human fetal tissue…
The human DNA from the vaccine can be randomly inserted into the recipient’s genes by homologous recom- bination, a process that occurs spontaneously only within a species…
Taken together, these data support the hypothesis that residual human DNA in some vaccines might cause autism.’
These statements have yet to be proven, however, this should raise questions in any parent’s mind to have a second thought about getting their child immunized.
Another consideration about vaccines are that they are high in toxicity. Aluminum, anti- freeze, ether, formaldehyde, and mercury serve as preservatives and enhancers to these vaccinations. This is another thing to consider, while your trying to protect your child from viruses, your pumping them with poison in the process. This is a proven fact.
Vaccines also contain a watered down version of the viruses that they are set to prevent. According to the medical community, this causes the body to learn that the virus is a foreign invader and as a result remembers the virus. Thus, producing an increased attack on the virus if ever contracted.
Just consider the reality of it. Your actually exposing your child to a bad virus. Would you send your child to a friend’s home that is infected with the flu in hopes that this will boost her immune system? It was stated that it is a weaker version of the virus, however, it is still exposure.
Alternative to vaccines
Viruses such as measles, mumps, and rubella are very strong and take a hard blow to the body.Antibiotics are not able to kill viral infections, hence the vaccines. However, these viruses, just like the flu, do run their course, which means that it doesn’t have to be a fatal or dramatic blow after contracting one of these viruses.
A person that is malnourished, infected by HIV/AIDS, or Cancer has a greater chance of experiencing dramatic or fatal consequences. Since the body is already weak, these viruses can spread more fiercely because the immune system is too weak to fight them off.
As an American culture, if we get away from the fast food and other health altering substances, we may have a chance at being protected from disease without vaccination. Healthy, green practices by way of organic foods, clean water, and clean environment are starting points. It may seem unreal, life without vaccinations, however, what is the alternative? High levels of toxicity in our children?
We as the parents have to decide what is best for our children. There has been record shown thatimmunizations keep viruses in check, however, the facts have also been proven that immunizations are highly toxic. What is the better choice?
