Having decided to go to the Impressionistic Exhibition from the Clark Collection, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clark_Art_Institute, at the Kimbell in Ft. Worth the first couple days it opened seemed foolish at best. Surprisingly there was no one in line to buy tickets to the exhibit, but a long line wrapped around the permanent collection to the buffet cafe.
We had decided to eat first which turned out to be a bit ridiculous; however, the choices were good, wine and beer were served, and you could pick your price by the size of plate you choose. I had a delicious Black Forest Ham half sandwich, a Ceasar Salad, and a Broccoli and Corn slice of quiche.
The exhibit was spectacular, many many Renoirs and Monets, among countless other artists. Tickets are $14 and include an audio tour.
