Thanks to everything from her movie roles to her current job on “American Idol,” touring is not something that Jennifer Lopez has had many opportunities to do over the years. However, all of that looks to be changing this summer.
According to Celebuzz, the “On the Floor” singer will be teaming up following “Idol’s” conclusion and beginning in June, will travel around the world for a 60-city tour co-headlined by Enrique Iglesias. This sort of event also marks a rare occasion for Iglesias, who in the past opted not to be a co-headliner on a tour with Britney Spears.
The tour will begin in South America, but will then continue to move across several other continents and countries.
As for how this impacts Lopez’s future on “Idol,” that is to be seen. The ratings are down significantly for the show versus last year, and producers could decide that a shake-up of the judging panel is necessary to maintain excitement.
