The L.A. Times, CNN and other news sources are reporting that the 76-year-old singer of Great Balls of Fire and Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On, Jerry Lee Lewis, has just married for the seventh time. And in keeping with tradition, the bride was once a relative of Jerry Lee. Mrs. Judith Lewis was once married to her new husband’s cousin, Rusty Brown. And at one time, Jerry Lee Lewis was married to Rusty Brown’s little sister, Myra Gale Brown.
There has been no word on whether Jerry Lee Lewis’ and Judith Brown’s wedding attire or wedding bands were reused from previous marriages. But for those northern California couples planning on getting married in the near future and looking to keep wedding costs down, the San Francisco Recycling Examiner suggests visiting one of the following northern California pawn shops to find used wedding rings.
Some may be thinking it’s bad luck to buy your wedding ring at a pawn shop, but you may just find the perfect symbol of your future happiness for a whole lot less than if you visit the jewelry store at the mall.
