Come out and be a witness to the Joffrey Ballet’s 10th Anniversary in celebration of years of spectacular dance performances. This event marks the end of the Joffrey Ballet’s performances for the 2011-2012 season. It also recognizes the Women’s Board in dedication of their greatest contribution of $15,000,000 towards the organization.
Through the creative leadership of Artistic Director, Ashley Wheater, the event features selections from Balanchine’s Stars and Stripes and a performance by Exelon Strobel Touring Troupe.
For the first time, the Women’s Board also partners with Junior Auxillary Board for the Grande Finale after-party following the Gala dinner.
Trolleys await guests that will be taken to the Palmer House Hilton Ballroom for cocktails, dinner and entertainment, including a feature video produced by Women’s Board member, Donna LaPietra, in dedication of the Women’s Board successful evolution over the years. The Arpino Angel Award also recognizes the producers of Joffrey: Mavericks of American Dance.
Guests will then experience more dancing and Chicago Cuisine as they proceed to the Empire Room for the Grand Finale.
The celebration will be quite memorable and is a great event for loyal fans of the Joffrey Ballet. It is also a great introduction to its history for all newcomers.
