The bible has many different names: such as The good book, God’s word, and the 66 love letters. Love is a constant theme throughout every book of the bible. One book is completely dedicated to love, The Song of Songs or the Song of Solomon. Jesus is the ultimate expression of Love that God has done for the world which is summed up in John 3:16.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Words For Love:
1. Greek word eros – get English word “erotica. Eros was Greek god of love(Roman was Cupid) – sensual, sexual, impulsive
b. Plato defined this love as ‘aspiring for and delighting in the
value of its object; loving that which is lovable.”

Character of God – “God is love”
“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

Despite what you may hear about God, He is still a God of love. There is also the “Love Chapter” in the bible that is in 1 Corinthians, and is often read at weddings. That chapter alone summarizes everything about love.
