The Renaissance Charlotte SouthPark Hotel is celebrating the traditional “let’s make breakfast for Mom” ritual by hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch where kids can actually make pancakes for Mom! On Sunday, May 13th, kids can don their very own chef’s hats and aprons (which they can also take home with them) and with the help of the restaurant’s chefs, prepare made-to-order buttermilk pancakes with all of Mom’s favorite ingredients and toppings including maple syrup, whipped cream, sliced strawberries, blueberries, chocolate chips, and pecans. In addition to the pancake station, the brunch also features an extensive buffet presentation. New for 2012 is a Bloody Mary Buffet with all types of customizable cocktail ingredients including pickled carrots and pickled okra, stuffed olives, gherkins, chilled oysters, shrimp, crabmeat, and much more.
Mother’s Day Brunch will be served from 9:30am until 2pm and is priced at $39 per person, $14 for kids 6 to 12 years of age, and free for children 5 and under (exclusive of tax and gratuity). For reservations you can go to their website or call the hotel at 704-501-2510.
