March was a surprising and interesting month for gamers everywhere, as we saw the first screenshots and details of Assassin’s Creed III, the premier trailer and preview for SimCity and the release of potential spec details regarding the Playstation 4.
In addition to the Assassin’s Creed III news we received at the beginning of the month, gamers also found out in-depth information about the upcoming DLC’s for Battlefield 3 and Maxis released the premier trailer for SimCity.
During the middle part of the month, we heard about what might be the first DLC for SSX, which could be skiing. Gamers then heard found out even more details about the MMO Diablo III and its release date for this May.
Then, people received a glimpse of the video games art exhibit being held currently at the Smithsonian which was followed by our first look at the Assassin’s Creed III storyline.
Finally, BioWare released their statement regarding the supposedly controversial ending to their new game Mass Effect 3. World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria was finally given a preview featuring the new additions that will be given for the next DLC.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 information was leaked on Activision’s forum around the same time a credible and reliable source from Sony shared some specs and release date information. The Playstation 4 could possibly debut a year from this November.
It was an amazing month in gaming and if March was any indication of things to come for this year, April will surely not disappoint.
