MILLBROOK — Millbrook Vineyards and Winery has joined the new Hudson Valley Food and Beverage Alliance as a founding member.
The winery, founded by brothers-in-law John S. Dyson and David H. Bova in 1981, is a 130-acre estate with more than 30 acres planted in European grape varieties. It produces more than 15,000 cases of wine annually.
The Alliance, which was created by the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp. (HVEDC), is intended to help food and beverage companies in the region market their products nationwide. Its membership includes food businesses, farmers, vegetable growers, beverage makers, distributors and other organizations in the industry.
“Our region has a great tradition of producing outstanding wines, and this winery has led the way for the past three decades. Their input will be invaluable as we move forward with the Alliance,” HVEDC President & Ceo Mike Oates said.
Millbrook Winery is located several miles north of this Dutchess County Community.
