Baseball is a game of numbers. No other sport embraces player’s stats and compares them to days gone by quite like baseball. These numbers are used by people in bars across America to debate which players are superior.
In 2011 a couple of big milestones were reached in Major League Baseball. Derek Jeter hit a home run for his 3,000th hit in July. Just one month later Jim Thome blasted his 600th home run in Detroit.
