The Dinner Daily was created as a means to end the weeknight dinner rut. Cooking healthy meals is a priority for many families, but active lifestyles can challenge this wish.
Creator, Laurin Mills, decided to take her passion for cooking and healthy food, along with her desire to simplify the weeknight routine, and design an easy system for getting dinner on the table during the week. The Dinner Daily was born!
The Dinner Daily offers weeknight meal planning based on specials at several New England based grocery stores. Users have the option of choosing the “Your Other Favorite Store” function, which can be used anywhere in the country. The only difference is its not tied to specials at a specific store. The service also offers two meal restriction options including No Red Meat and No Shellfish.
Meal plans are written so the total cost for five dinners and one or two sides, averages $85 for a family of four to six people. The site features customized coupon searches for the items on grocery lists across many different coupon sites. Average coupon searches results in approximately $4 to $6 in coupons values weekly. Customers are provided with a direct link to coupon sites. Hours of time are saved by not having to plan and write out a shopping list, look through sales flyers, or clip coupons. Multiple trips to the grocery store each week will become a thing of the past since only one trip to the store per week is needed with an organized shopping list. The Dinner Daily is not just about the recipes but having a well thought about plan. This service is different than others, in that the plans are written each week based on the sales at each of the stores.
Those responsible for family meals will appreciate the Dinner Daily’s simple approach: the meals are healthy (no processed convenience foods are ever used), easy to prepare, not too expensive, don’t include strange ingredients, nutritional information provided and most importantly- will be enjoyed by the whole family (all recipes are family tested). All for $5/month!
