Corri McFadden, a middle class girl from Kansas City took a business plan and thirty-seven dollars and started her own business, eDrop-Off. What started as a senior college project in fashion school grew into a multi-million dollar company. Grossing over six million dollars in sales last year, she seems to be doing something right and to think her professors said she was “wasting her talent.”
The Chicago based business puts a twist on retail shopping. While eDrop-Off ‘s a retail store there are no items sold out of the store. Clients can drop off their designer luxury items and the items will be sold on eBay for profit.
Corri and her crew also offer closet clean-out, the crew will come to your home and help you decide which items to put up for auction. Can’t part with an item, not sure which items are out of season or just need the extra hands, Corri and Nicole ( Brand Manager) will help you turn those unused, out of date items into cold hard cash.
Selling over two thousand luxury items a week and counting, Corri’s looking to make her business a household name. After being contacted several times to be on reality TV including ABC’s “The Bachelorette” and refusing, Corri agreed when she got the call to star in VH1’s: “House of Consignment” because this time the show would be about her company. She may be a reality star to many of us but make no mistake she’s not looking to be the traditional “reality star.” Corri’s driven and intensely focused on the success of her business not the lights and cameras.
