Alongside Thursday’s announcement that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim would add Kinect voice command support for the Xbox 360, Bethesda also revealed that news on the first add-on content for its massive single-player role-playing game is coming soon. It’s also “exclusive to the Xbox 360.”
Bethesda Game Studios has been hard at work on creating the first set of game add-ons that will be exclusive to the Xbox 360,” the statement from Bethesda read. “This additional content will add new quests, locations, features, and much more to the world of Skyrim. Stay tuned for more details.”
This content will be timed-exclusive content similar to what was done with Fallout 3 and was is currently being done with the Call of Duty series. Add-ons will be released to the Xbox 360 first followed by releases for the Playstation 3 and PC approximately a month later. Bethesda made this announcement last year when it announced the deal with Microsoft.
