Last Friday, fans of “Sweet Home Alabama” watched Paige Duke and Jeremiah James Korfe profess their love for one another. The two are very much a couple in love now, three months later, and have spent the week since the finale in Minnesota together. Thursday CMT posted a new video showing Paige and Jeremiah’s final show interview together, and fans will really enjoy seeing them reflect on their journey to finding one another.
In the video on CMT, Paige says she knew Jeremiah was the one the day they were all riding the hay bales to go shoot bows and arrows. Duke says her mom always told Paige when she saw the right guy she’d know. Jeremiah says that telling someone he loves them isn’t something he throws around casually. He says his grandparents and parents taught him a lot about how people show love, and he is very private about sharing such things. Viewers may have thought he was overly reserved about opening up to Paige, but he says a lot of that is simply how he was raised.
Both Paige and Jeremiah talk about how hard it is to be in a house with a bunch of people all dating the same person. Paige says being the lead wasn’t all fun and games like she thought it would be, and she didn’t expect to fall in love with somebody. However, she says she met the love of her life on the show, and she’s so grateful.
Many viewers were shocked to see Paige Duke choose Jeremiah over Bubba Thompson, and she received a lot of negative blowback on Facebook after the finale. However, now that Paige and Jeremiah have the opportunity to open up and share the romantic details of their courtship, many seem to be coming around.
CMT hasn’t announced anything about Season 4 of “Sweet Home Alabama” yet, but fans of the show won’t have to suffer withdrawals for now. The network as created the spin-off show “Southern Nights” which premieres Saturday, April 7. Ten of the franchise’s favorite personalities will share a house in Savannah and viewers will follow along for all of the fun and drama.
