Have a grandchild with amazing artistic ability? Do you, Grandma or Grandpa, fit into that category? There’s a chance such work could be on display beginning this summer, July 2 through Oct. 7 at the Peninsula Fine Arts Center Biennial 2012 exhibition.
Awards totaling $6,000 will be bestowed upon those chosen by jurors of the exhibit. This year, participants are also given the opportunity to submit their own proposals for the Ranhorne Gallery installation.
Members may enter as many as 3 pieces for $25, (non-members-$30). Additional entries are $5. Installation proposals have a separate application fee of $20.
The deadline for submissions is May 5th. Artwork in any medium is acceptable, with a $250 pound weight limit and 96 in. “in any dimension” size limit. Additionally, works must be less than three years old and cannot have been previously exhibited at the Peninsula Fine Arts Center.
