Charlotte: “You are just another puppet in the Grayson family play, and it is time for your exit.”

Emily Thorne and her revengenda are finally back! Things pick up with Daniel in prison, and the Graysons and Emily scrambling to find a way to save him. What is great is that the writers did show Daniel in prison for a bit. Granted they could have showed more of his life in prison before whisking him off to house arrest. What is shown is nothing interesting, and there are just so many great possibilities of things that the writers could have shown such as Daniel hearing what the other inmates or guards think of him (if they know anything about his case at all), or how he is treated. It is only logical that a rich kid would not be treated kindly in prison, and yet the writers show none of that. Do you think the writers should have shown more of Daniel in jail or no?
The writers did decide to show more of Victoria, and it is hard to figure out why. Apparently she once went under the name Vicki Harper, and perhaps that is even her maiden name. In this time, she met a man who painted her on numerous occasions. Vicki spends some more time with him during this episode, and yeah, not sure what to make of it. It offers viewers a glimpse as to who Victoria was before she married Conrad, but that could have been done in other ways. Does anyone have a theory as to why Victoria’s dealings with this man are important?
Here are some quick thoughts on all the drama happening elsewhere in the episode. The Declan and Charlotte drama is to be expected, so there was not a big shock when it happened. Declan has always put his loyalty to Jack first, and thankfully that does not seem to be changing. It would be an annoying character change if Declan randomly did not protect or stand up for Jack. There would have to be a good reason for him not to. Charlotte’s drug habit is getting slightly annoying, and it is unclear as to how it will end. Right now she is in too deep to stop using, and it would be great if somehow Emily played a part in Charlotte getting clean. It is great that Mason Treadwell is back. He is just an interesting way to dig up drama, and Emily certain knows how to manipulate him. Anyone else glad to see Mason Treadwell again? Also, what are your Charlotte and Declan thoughts?
