A cold front has now pushed south of the Buffalo area. A weak area of low pressure will move east along this front bringing clouds and showers along with the chance of a thunderstorm to much of western New York today. Most of the rain will fall this morning into the early afternoon hours with conditions improving a little late this afternoon. Highs this afternoon will be in the mid 50s in Buffalo.
High pressure will build toward the area tonight. Lingering showers will end this evening and skies will begin to clear late tonight. Overnight lows will fall to the low 30s.
High pressure will take control of the weather across the Buffalo area on Friday with sunshine expected. It will be chilly however with highs only reaching the low to mid 40s.
Another storm will pass by to our south on Saturday. This system and its associated precipitation should remain south of Buffalo. Highs on Saturday will be in the low to mid 40s in Buffalo.
