Be a hero for kids with cancer! We are setting up a St.Baldricks event! Our event will be at Shindig’s Irish Pub in Port Saint Lucie, Saturday March 31st at 12p.m.
We will be honoring 6 year old Brock Smith, SLCFD member Rob Orton’s nephew, who is currently undergoing treatment and battling brain cancer. This will be a family friendly event with music, food, drinks, a bounce house, sno-cones, popcorn, and a raffle.
For those of you who are not familiar with St.Baldricks it is a charity organization that raises money by volunteers collecting donations to shave their heads. If you want to shave your head, great! Register and start fundraising! If you don’t want to shave your head you can support someone who is by donating to their team!
Check out www.stbaldricks.org for more info and to register!
Join this St. Baldrick’s event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you’ll be a part of the excitement.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Get involved and you’ll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Please help spread the word!
