Los Angeles, Paris and New York are not the only greatest fashion cities in the world. On Friday, May 4, ten of Chicago’s most fabulous designers will take the stage and show off their fall 2012 collections.
Beginning at 5 p.m., guests can enjoy the ultimate designer shopping event, FashionChicago, which will span from the second and third floor of the Museum of Broadcast Communications. This museum is one of the few dedicated to broadcast history in the nation. MBC is home to America’s only National Radio Hall of Fame Gallery.
For those fashionistas looking for a once-in-a-lifetime shopping experience, this event will feature 30 of Chicago’s top accessories, apparel and jewelery designers. Designers include Barbara Bates, Lara Miller, Eva Pazola and Shernett Swaby.
Once you shop until your literally need to drop, you can enter the fourth floor starting at 6 p.m. for the VIP cocktail reception. Grab a glass of wine, a cocktail from Voli light vodkas, or a Peroni beer to go along with the delicious sushi rolls provided by RA Sushi.
The runway show begins at 7:30 p.m., and VIP tickets are still available online if you are interested in having your own seat at the show. The $95 ticket also includes a signature StyleChicago goodie bag, valued at $250.
If you do not mind not having an assigned seat, standing tickets are available for $45. However, this does not include a goodie bag. Both tickets offer complimentary admission to the FashionChicago shopping event.
So enjoy mingling with your friends, showing off your amazing new designer finds and watching one of the hottest fashion shows in the city. And don’t forget, the party doesn’t stop once the show is over. The official after-party will take place at Board Room. To purchase your ticket, click here.
