Located at 500 Sea World Drive, San Diego, CA 92109 and with more than 100 million visitors since the park opened back in 1964, San Diego Sea World is one of the most visited parks in the United Staes.
This fabulous animal theme park and oceanarium makes a wonderful summer vacation spot for both the big and the little ones! There are more than ten attraction rides available aimed for kids and adults and there is a variety of shows. One Ocean and Shamu Rocks are the most popular shows, along with Blue Horizons. One Ocean and Shamu Rocks feature the popular killer whale named Shamu, while Blue Horizons includes a bunch of flying dolphins and spectacular acrobats.
Be prepared for a hot summer day with plenty of water, hats, sunglasses, sunblock, and a good pair of walking shoes. I would recommend to avoid sandals for there is a lot of walking to do inside the park. Clothing-wise, it is highly recommended to wear dri-fit top and bottoms or perhaps a comfortable bathing suit for you will most likely get wet either at the shows if you decide to sit at the “wet rows” or at any of the water attractions.
Make sure you bring your camera for the experiences in Sea World are priceless! However, if you do not have a waterproof submersible camera, make sure to bring prenly of plastic bags to protect your belongings while riding any of the water attractions.
