Teresa Giudice has offered an apology to her Real Houswives of New Jersey castmates. The somewhat controversial star has been at odds with everyone from her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, to her ex best friend, Carolina Manzo. She has finally reached out to her former friends, but not in the way she should have. While many feel as though Giudice should have confronted each of her pals and had a sit down heart to heart with them, she chose to apologize in a more public forum—on the pages of In Touch Weekly. This in and of itself is making the other Housewives suspicious.
Teresa Giudice apologized to Gorga, Manzo, her cousin, Kathy Wakile, and her other pal, Jacqueline Laurita, by way of an open letter for each of them. “I wish we could have resolved things sooner because I’m sincerely sorry for upsetting you — and I’m sorry I didn’t respond to your apology on Twitter. I feel like things have gotten out of hand, which is sad. I miss our friendship,” Giudice said in her letter to Laurita.
While it sounded super nice and was definitely a needed gesture, Laurita isn’t falling for it too easily. “Baby steps would be great with [Teresa] but only if its sincere and it definitely didn’t sound like it.The show airing doesn’t help I guess,” Jacqueline tweeted after hearing open Teresa Giudice’s apology.
The Real Housewives star says that she learned a lot being on Celebrity Apprentice and she extended an olive branch to her would-be friends… would be if she hadn’t talked trash about them in her cookbook Fabulicious. Her kind words might go a long way, if, and only if, she meant them.
