Sunday night on “The Celebrity Apprentice 2012,” viewers were treated to two tasks and two firings. The first task of the evening had both teams creating a New York City guidebook, and the teams battled to make the most money from their sales. Teresa Giudice was the project manager for Forte, while Dee Snider was the project manager for Unanimous.
Teresa’s first task as PM for her team this week on “The Celebrity Apprentice” was to ask everybody who they can contact for donations. Debbie says that Teresa should raise the most since she is in charge. The ladies split to work on different components of the project, and they bicker as usual. Aubrey complains that things are going too slowly, while Lisa bashes Dayana. However, Dayana brings in some great donations for the team and offers up a lot of ideas.
Dee thinks that they should have one of the guys in every picture, and for the most part the guys seem to be joking around as they work. Penn comes up with the idea to bring in the Blue Man Group, and everybody is calling on friends, fans and family for favors. They manage to get an offer of a blank check from Jay Leno. Michael Andretti comes and lends his support to the team as well.
Things are busy but a bit out of control on the men’s side, and Jay Leno’s truck gets lost and stuck in traffic. Sadly for the men’s team, they lose out on the check from Jay as they can’t connect with him in time. Regis Philbin shows up to review the books, and he is very impressed with the men’s guidebook. However, he really likes the personalized approach by the women.
Once the teams enter the boardroom, Aubrey and Lisa are tearing down Dayana, who is fighting hard to defend herself. Debbie says she and Lisa took on a lot of the work, and blames Teresa for things not getting done. Ivanka Trump asks if Debbie should get fired, and Teresa thinks it should be either Debbie or Dayana. There is more arguing from there.
Donald Trump says that Regis liked the women’s book better, but the winning team will be determined by the amount of money raised. The women raised $162,855 while the men raised $162,869. It was an incredibly close race, but the men win by $14. All of the money from both teams will be donated to the March of Dimes. Now the women are under fire. Aubrey raised the least amount, and Debbie and Teresa continue to argue. Dayana is again thrown under the bus, so fingers are pointing everywhere.
Trump wonders if Aubrey should be fired for raising the least, and Debbie thinks Teresa should be fired. Dayana thinks Aubrey should be fired. Teresa brings Dayana and Debbie back into the boardroom with her. Dayana fights that she raised a lot of money, so she should not be fired. Things go around in circles, but it comes down to which of the three raised the least amount. Debbie Gibson is the first celebrity fired Sunday night.
“The Celebrity Apprentice” continues on with a Walgreen’s task and the teams are finally mixed up by Donald Trump. Which celebrity will be the next to go? Which celebrity walks out after the boardroom? Stay tuned for more from NBC’s “The Celebrity Apprentice 2012.”
