Picture and slideshow above is from the Darren Wallace collection, Darren Wallace was the winner of the Independent Handbag Designer Award for Best Handmade Handbag in 2008 and was a nominee in 2009. While I was visiting New York, from Phoenix last week, I had the chance to stop by Darren’s studio and view his work. Each handbag I viewed was exquisitely done and shows off the many talents of Darren Wallace. Not only is he an award-winning handbag designer, but he creates canvas art, and designs furniture.
Darren has just finished the launch of his first fashion collection for F/W 2011. His collection was inspired by his original NYC Subway sign artwork embellished with Swarovski Elements and was coveted by all who attended the exclusive runway show.
