Faye: “I’m grateful that I don’t have to see Adam bat his oversized lashes at her undersized head again.”

Adam, Faye and Melissa had the best storyline of the episode. It was witchy and yet hilarious all at once. Faye and Melissa are in a competition to win over a guy, and each one of them goes to Adam for magical help. Faye and Melissa very rarely have scenes with Adam, and so this was a great pairing, and it showed that they really are friends. Although it always seems like the circle does not know any magic in some situations, and then they magically pull out these great tricks out of thin air. Ok, excuse the too easy joke, but does anyone else notice that? Somehow Adam can put words into Melissa’s mouth and help Faye with her darts. They never seem to study magic, but they know a good bit of spells. What did you think of all the Adam/Faye/Melissa time during this episode?
Diana was quite annoying during the episode. She is reunited with Grant, and all seems to be going well. Seeing her happy and dating instead of being jealous of Adam and Cassie is a great thing, but all great things must get messed up, apparently. As it turns out, Grant is just a crew member on a boat, so he has been lying to Diana all this time. She takes the news bad saying all sorts of things about how terrible people are who lie about who they are. Does that sound familiar to anyone else? Her hypocrisy was annoying, and it did not seem like she realized what she was doing. This is a new side to Diana, and it does not help her likability one bit. It was an interesting choice for the writers to take, and it will probably end with Diana either telling Grant or Grant finding out about her witchy-ness and being offended at the lying. Did Diana bother anyone else?
Blackwell takes up a call to arms at the end of the episode. After discovering that Evan, the head witch hunter, is raising demons to help kill the circle, Blackwell decides it is time for the circle to come out of hiding and kick up their magic a notch. It was great the the demons are coming back into the show. Fans should remember meeting the demons, afterall that is mostly why Nick died. Blackwell’s pep talk occurred after him and his magic had been found out, which was interesting timing. It definitely does not help those who are skeptical of his intentions. Honestly it looks like he wants what’s best for the circle, but he has his own code of morals that dictate that goal coming true. This war will be interesting to watch, mostly because it seems like a war should be something spent over an entire season developing and preparing for. There are very few episodes left, so it is worrisome, and the writers may just try to either make this a very short war or just cram in a bunch of stuff. What are your thoughts on this war?
