IRVINGTON, NY — A co-star of BBC America’s “No Kitchen Required” is about to open a 100-seat Greek brasserie in this Westchester County village.
Chef Michael Psilakis will debut MP Taverna, located at 1 Bridge Street, later this month. It will be his sixth restaurant, including two others named MP Taverna — in Roslyn and Astoria.
The dinner menu will be divided into sections, allowing diners to order from selections of meze and salads, entrees, and plats du jour. The lunch menu will feature a variety of sandwiches, salads and other dishes.
Psilakis’s resume includes Esquire magazine’s “Chef of the Year,” Food & Wine magazine’s “Best New Chef” and Bon Appetit magazine’s “Chef of the Year.”
