Starting Saturday and lasting through October 27 is the Hester Street Fair. The market has food from favorite NYC vendors like Luke’s Lobster, FattyCakesNY and Ample Hills Creamery. On April 30th, Share Our Strength Taste of the Nation will have a food benefit to fight childhood hunger. This event will showcase the talents of 50 of New York’s top chefs and mixologists. The restaurants represented include North End Grill, Blue Hill and Gramercy Tavern. The event costs $225 for advance tickets and $250 for tickets bought. Celebrate Asian cuisine at The LUCKYRICE festival, which starts May 1st and runs through May 6th. There will be dinners, tastings and markets all over town.
