Richmond has been one up and coming metro of late, with the Virginia Comicon becoming one of those events tagging the sourhtern capital’s rise.
This Sunday the VA Comicon launches its second free expo within 2012.
A three hour ride from the District of Columbia, April 1s comic book event plans an eclectic exhibit at the Crowne Plaza West. VA Comicon will be showcasing small press, guest talents, vendors along with live music and modeling performances featuring Name of the Rose.
Richmond’s steady growth and transition prompts inclusions within best city listings, while the VA Comicon has been increasing exposure around the Greater Metro D.C.’s comic book community.
