Wondering what that person means when you hear them say, “I must clear and align my chakras.” What are they talking about?
We know how to take care of our human body and it’s needs, yet, have not been taught how to take care of our spiritual bodies. Chakras, pronounced “shock-ruhs”, are part of our spiritual body. They are the energy centers deep within our human body, our emotional body. Once you become acquainted with the seven main chakras, you will begin to understand that we are beings full of love, light and energy.
Google chakra chart and you will find a colorful description of these energy centers. The main chakras are Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye, and Crown.
Each chakra has a specific function in relating to certain issues and color association. In the ancient Eastern language of Sanskrit, the definition of the word chakra is translated as wheel. Our chakras are circular and move, or spin, in a clockwise direction. The main chakras are located next to hormonal glands which provide the life force energy that enhances our ability to achieve higher intuition of consciousness and health and harmony in the physical.
When we consume ourselves with negative thoughts, such as fear and doubt, the chakras can become dirty, swollen, shrink…get out of balance. When we are in a state of joy and contentment, our chakras are clean, aligned and flow at an energetic rate, fit for our well being.
The best medicine for maintaing a healthy chakra is meditation. Through meditation, we can ask for clearing of these energy centers by focusing on the issue affecting our thoughts, in direct correlation to the problem at hand. I choose to call on Divine Helpers to assist in this clearing method. It is important to ask to connect with your higher self before beginning this meditation to heal your energy centers.
A person’s natural state of being is one of high energy, empowering thoughts and good health. This is a natural law, again, a natural state of being. Once we begin to allow ill feelings towards others, as well as ourself, into our mentality, our physical and energetic bodies suffer. We experience depression and illness, or we may live in denial of that, and just make everyone around us miserable or discontent.
Energy is everything! Thoughts are powerful and create our lives! Read and study about your chakras. Stay open-minded! Become willing to learn how important it is, in today’s world, to enhance your physical, mental and spiritual well being.
