Local hotels are preparing mouth watering buffets to delight the palate of their guests. Here is a list of some of the hotels in San Juan, Dorado, Isla Verde and Rio Grande with information about their Easter menu, prices and related events.
The Caribe Hilton Hotel announced that they will be offering its traditional Palmeras’ Restaurant “Easter Sunday Brunch” on Sunday, April 8, from 12:30-4 p.m. Palmeras Restaurant will be featuring a cold buffet, including Steamed Shrimp in Salsa Rosa, Cod fish Salad with Avocado, Ceviche with Cilantrillos and a hot buffet including pasta paella “Fideua”, Roasted Pork, Fried Red Snapper fillet with Tartar Sauce and Roasted Chicken Breast with Sweet Plantains, among other options. Desserts include Spring Strawberries with “Chantilly” Cream, and Cheese Flan.
The buffet price is $57 per adult, $18 for children from 6-12 years old, and free for children under 5 years. The Palm Restaurant is located in the main lobby of the Caribe Hilton Hotel. Embassy Suites Dorado del Mar Beach Resort, will offer the Easter Sunday Buffet on April 8th, from 11:30-5 p.m. in the “Blue Sea Horse” area (pool bar). Stations will include breads, salads, and a Seafood Paella Bar. Enjoy the hotel’s famous drink Coco Loco and drinks of your choice. For those who delight your palate with delicious desserts, including a special crepes station. The buffet price per person is $39.95 and $12.95 for children. Starting at 12:30 p.m., the Marriott Courtyard, in Isla Verde, will be holding an Easter Buffet featuring a typical Puerto Rican menu including Roasted Pork and Arroz Mamposteao (stewed rice and beans), among other typical dishes at Salsa Restaurant, located in the lobby of the hotel. At the Rio Mar Beach Resort in Rio Grande, the Easter Brunch will start at 12 noon right after the Easter Mass that will be held in the Rio Mar Ballroom. Menu for the brunch will include Creolle breads, sweet pastries with cream cheese or guava, mayorcas, Pastas, Pizzas, Rices, Lobster, Crab, chicken , and for dessert, various cakes, lemon pie, fresh fruits and ice cream. Admission to this buffet is $38.95 per person.
