The latest dance video game scheduled to hit the market is Let’s Dance by Maximum Family Games. Originally scheduled for release in late April, the release date was recently pushed back to May 29.
Video gamers are using dance games for both fun and fitness, and there are an increasing number of dance game options. It looks like Let’s Dance was originally released in the UK as Let’s Dance with Mel B. Let’s Dance is taking a different approach, and that is putting your image right on the TV screen. However, according to an article at pushsquare.com, it looks like that feature only applies to motion tracking games like Kinect. It seems a bit unclear as to how this feature will translate to Wii.
Let’s Dance will feature 28 songs from varying artists and genres ranging from Culture Club to Fatboy Slim, from Gloria Gaynor to Lady Gaga. Check out the article mentioned earlier for a Let’s Dance song list.
Let’s Dance is currently scheduled for release on May 29, 2012. It is available for pre-order on Amazon.com for $19.99.
