The 2012 NCAA Women’s Final Four in Denver is more than just two semifinals on Sunday and the Championship Game on Tuesday. This weekend is packed with events (mostly free) at Pepsi Center, the Colorado Convention Center, and a host of other venues located in downtown Denver.

The Colorado Convention Center will host Tourney Town 2012. Tourney Town is the heart of the 2012 Women’s Final Four and has a few ongoing activities that span Friday, Saturday and Sunday. (All times Mountain.)
Most noteworthy is Tourney Town’s Center Stage inside the Convention Center. Local bands will grace the stage on Friday, March 30th from 10am to 7pm, on Saturday, March 31st from 10am to 7pm and on Sunday, April 1st from 11am to 6pm. The highlight of Center Stage activities will be a free performance by renowned singer-songwriter Jewel on Saturday, March 31st at 5pm.
For women’s basketball fans coming to the Final Four in Denver from other parts of the country, you can buy a ticket for a Tourney Journey Tour around the city. The tour will take you to a mix of Denver’s historical landmarks and modern attractions on April 2nd between 9am and 6pm and on April 3rd between 10am and 5pm.
The Convention Center is also hosting the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) National Convention where 2,000 women’s basketball coaches will meet to discuss the future of the sport. The WBCA will hold a series of seminars and gatherings in and around the Colorado Convention Center from March 31th through April 3rd.
